Thank you for the suggestion of the easy route. We are 60 years old and not experienced hikers and not really athletes but we can walk for 2 or 3 hours non-stop on level ground, but we do struggle a bit uphill. So, let me see if I got this right. We will park near Refugio Aurenzo, go on our left and follow trail 105 up to Refugio Locatelli. From there we will look for the Trail 101 sign that will lead us back to the car park. I hope I got that right. So, do we skip Refugio Lavaredo or is it still on the same route? Also, is it Euro 30 per person, or pay only for the car? I heard that it is the same price if one goes to the Seceda or Alpe di Siusi by cable car, which we're planning to do as well. We will be there the last week of August. Hope we will be fine.
Pilgrimage? I thought you'd be walking. You cheated and took trains to Assisi!
Iconic
You guys are awesome! Really informative and fun series. Going to the Dolomites and Cortina in a few weeks and this was very helpful.
Thank you so much! I am excited for you! Happy trails!! 🫶🏼
Thanks for your Dolomites series of videos. I think we will do the same places you visited. I don't believe you mentioned it, but how much did your car rental cost for the entire trip?
Thank you so much! My husband thought it was about €80 a day with insurance which we highly recommend you get:-)
Hello! If I am using a rental car and take the first lift from Ortisei, can I pay for parking and the lift there, or do I need to make reservations online so I don’t have to worry about it getting sold out? I plan to arrive around 9am
I am not sure about this one. We arrived in the afternoon. However, based on how popular this peak is, I would go with advanced reservations if you are able to. Have fun!
Hi Thank you for your information. I would like to ask you a question that you stayed on the same hotel in Cortina or you changed to different place everyday? Thank you. Linh
Hello. Thank you for watching. We stayed at the same hotel while we were there. Having been there once, I may consider staying in Cortina for a few days then move to Ortisei and explore that area and hike Seceda from there. We just didn’t have more time. I hope this helps
What month is this may I ask?
This was in September
Thank you
I love your videos 🥰
@@goarmirzoyan8995 thank you!!

Ang ganda po ma’am! Love the music too. Looks like you had a great time!
Maraming salamat sa pagdalaw. Yes, we did! Thank you again.
I loved your video. I am going to KL in 3 months & now you helped me decide on what I want to see. You did a great job putting this video together.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Have fun in KL! We loved it there❤️
Want to visit this year

Beautiful place!!! I hate the speed limits. Most are like 42 and 23. Nothing that is indicated on your speedometer. Lol.
Lived there for 3 years in SanDestin a hundred yards from the Gulf while workint at Eglin AFB. Sailing, Fishing, Diving, Spearfishing. Snorkling out by the second sandbar where the people on the beach look like ants. Running on the beach evey morning.Full moon parties on the beach with the permanent neighbors. College girls during Spring Break, and divorced MILF's at the great bars the rest of the year. Me, 30 years old in peak physical condition. Absofreakinglutely the best 3 years of my life!!
Lucky Dog 😅

Hi. All the four videos on the dolomites are amazing. So beautiful and informative. Planning to go there this June with family and will just follow your itinerary to the T. I wanted to know how much cash should we keep with us for the lake, tre cime, secada and the tolls from Venice? I am also planning to rent a car from Venice mestre. Thanks
I am excited for you. Credit cards were widely accepted there including tolls. We always just have €200 with us but used our credit cards everywhere.
Thank you for this awesome video I will be traveling to capri soon and will definitely follow your tips. I save the video for reference.
Thank you so much!! I hope you have a wonderful trip! I loved it there and would love to go back and stay an extra day:-)
what time of the year was this?
Hello. This was at the end of July (2022)
@@JoyousSerendipity oh end of July but still very cold in the morning... planning to go September, I think I should reconsider this plan coming from a tropical country and not used to cold weather. :)
@@mincedmice yes, it was still cold. I would check the weather in September. I know it’s the best time to go to Italy in September coz it is not too hot in Rome or the coast but might be cooler still in the Dolomites. As long as you go prepared with layers, I think it will be fun!
maraming salamat
Walang anuman. Salamat din po
honestly so glad i discovered this channel ahead of a trip
I am so happy to hear that. I wish I was going back again!!
so helpful! Subscribed!
Yay!! Thank you so much!
This is great! Thinking of doing a day trip from venice to cortina and the 3 peaks. Would you say renting and driving out is a good idea? Is the drive relatively easy or there are some catches?
Hello! I am excited for you! The drive is straightforward except for the hairpin curves as you get towards Cortina and the peaks. If coming from Venice for the day, I would assume you have to start really early to get to the peak and park up there. If not, there are buses near the peak that you can take up to the beginning of the hike. I hope this helps.
Thank you for the information! You are wonderful! Would you have any idea on how far it is from Cortina to the peaks? How early should we really leave for? Was looking at buses -- does it take you directly to the hike area (what is the trail head)? THANK YOU AGAIN!
@@JoyousSerendipitydid you get billed for any violations?

Thanks for visiting!🫶🏼
hi Joy how do I move around. Im scared to get lost. map? do the wifi works?
Hello. Yes, I use Google maps or Maps to get around. Some will use Wayz as well.
what month was this taken?
Hi, we were there in July
Music choices are A+!!
Very nice video.
Thank you so much!! 😍
Hi! Do you have Luigi’s WhatsApp contact information?
Rome is very safe even for solo travelers. I’m more scared going down the block in my fancy home city (which is secretly a shitshow) than strolling down a random alleyway in Rome. Had a fantastic time there. Learn basic Italian and trust me, your experience will magnify ten fold.
I felt the same thing!!! I was in Naples solo, too!!
Going Mar 10 for breakfast they used to do a all you can eat sun brunch with cavier shrimp chilled lobster oysters clams omlette chef and carve meat counter for $75 in the 90s they got rid of it and now just have breakfast
Wow, that would be great if they brought that back. Just can imagine how much they would charge for it lol
@@JoyousSerendipity I know I can imagine it was packed back then and get as much osetra cavier as you want it waa awesome. To bad I did not take pics back then.
Hello we are planning a 12 trip the Dolomites this September and will be dividing our time between cortina and Oritsei ..my question is about laundry of all things as we will be both hiking and mountain biking …did your hotel have a laundry or did you find laundromat? I see some hotels offer a service but have heard this can be expensive…thankyou again and I’m really enjoying your Dolomites series..
Hello!!! I am so excited for you! Yes there are laundromats in both places. Our hotel didn’t have one but there was one near it. I just use google to search and map one. We actually used one before we left for Austria. Have fun!
Hi what month did you visit, also did you pre book the return ferry or you can get your ferry at anytime when it leave if it leaves in intervals
Hi there. I went in September. At the time, I didn’t have to but you can do so and I would highly recommend it. At the time I went, the country was still not fully opened at the time. I hope this helps
Why w9uld you ask such a stupid invasive questio about napoli?go back to your adopted country. Is napoli safe for a woman?? Napoli is not the U S A, THEY RESPECT WONEN IN NAPOLI

Maam need one more help - can you please give mr the car rental link as we are total 4 adults and 2 kids and just want to follow your same itinerary for positano and capri
Hello. We rented from Enterprise Rental. Good luck! It is a beautiful place to visit!!
Taxi can accompany 4 adults and 2 child? Or we need to take 2 cabs
I don’t think you will fit in one taxi unless you get a van. Maliliit ang mga taxi sa Italy:-(
